I'm an amateur photographer living in the San Francisco Bay Area. I began taking photos in 2011 and focus primarily on abandoned, black and white, and landscape photography. I use Canon gear with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for post-processing.
My photos have been featured on Google Chromecast's backdrop feature, Google Chromebook desktop backgrounds, and Nik Software training videos.
Growing up in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, I enjoyed fishing and hiking in the nearby Blue Ridge and Appalachian Mountains. When I was thirteen, I received my first computer and taught myself web design and web development. Throughout my teenage years I ran a series of popular video game sites that were acquired by GameSpy and later IGN. After studying Business and Computer Science at Virginia Tech, I moved across the country to take a job at Google, where I've spent over a decade protecting Search users from spam.
